I’m writing this review from memory, so I can’t say as much as about each dish as I would like to.

What I do remember was the great value for money here and the pork dish. In Copenhagen, or Denmark in general, it’s very difficult to find a decent three-course meal for less than 300 kroner (€40). Tony’s offer three courses for 200 kroner (€27).

The owner of Tony’s also owns other restaurants, for instance Frankie’s which is French themed. Tony’s is Italian themed.

I honestly can’t remember the starter I had, and these pictures were taken by my brother’s fiancé, so it is possible that only she had this particular starter:

My brother’s fiancé chose risotto with mushrooms for her main course:

I had Spanish pork belly with chives and celeriac and apples if I’m not mistaken. The pork was so good that I had to ask how they had cooked it. I don’t think I have had this good a dish for such a low price in Copenhagen before.

I remember the service as being informal but very friendly and helpful. This is a place I would be very happy to go back to.

Følgende anmeldelse er lavet ud fra hukommelsen et godt stykke tid senere, så jeg kan ikke sige så meget, som jeg gerne ville, om hver ret.

Jeg husker dog især to ting om besøget på Tony’s: Den gode valuta for pengene og svinekødet. Det er svært at finde en hæderlig trerettersmenu til under 300 kroner i Danmark. Tony’s tilbyder tre retter for 200 kroner.

Ejeren at Tony’s ejer også andre restauranter, f.eks. Frankie’s, som er fransk madlavning. Tony’s er italiensk madlavning.

Jeg kan ærlig talt ikke huske forretten, jeg fik, og billederne er taget af min brors forlovede, så det kan godt være, at kun hun fik den her forret:

Jeg fik spansk svineslag med purløg og knoldselleri og æbler, hvis jeg ikke tager fejl. Svinekødet var så godt, at jeg blev nødt til at spørge, hvordan de havde lavet det. Det er vist første gang, jeg har fået så god en ret til så billige penge i København.

Jeg husker betjeningen som værende uformel, men meget venlig og hjælpsom. Jeg vil med glæde tage på den her restaurant igen.
